Explore the artist’s journey and inspiration

Dale Pereira is a talented artist and illustrator, hailing from the much-loved and vibrant land of Goa, India.

“Nature has always been my muse. I find myself to be the most content while I capture on paper the many colors, textures and emotions that nature evokes in me.”

Born and raised amidst the breathtaking beauty of Goa’s natural landscapes, Dale developed a profound admiration and respect for the plants, animals, and scenic wonders that surrounded her. Her childhood days were spent exploring the lush greenery in her backyard and the serene beaches, experiences that significantly influence her art today.

“What is yours will find you.”

Although Dale had always been remembered as ‘the artsy kid’ in school, her love for academia, science and business led her down a different path. She pursued a Masters degree in Microbiology, working in the field for many years. She further explored business research, using her skills to set up businesses worldwide. However, her passion for art never wavered.

“Creating art is my refuge - it brings a sense of calmness to my life.”

Dale’s artistic journey has been diverse, encompassing a wide range of mediums, her favourite being watercolour. Through her botanical pieces, textured artworks, ink sketches, handmade cards, wedding invitations, and architectural sketches for real estate renders, she has showcased her versatility and creativity in every project.

Beyond her personal artwork, Dale has also contributed her talents to social campaigns promoting nature conservation, such as the Mollem campaign, where her artwork made a meaningful impact.

“Every painting has a tiny bit of me in it.”

What sets Dale’s art apart is her unique perspective. Her work is not bound by realism but rather reflects her own interpretation and connection with nature’s colors, shapes, and forms. Dale finds joy in the creative process, relishing every moment spent at her desk, while she quietly paints.

Dale invites viewers to explore her gallery and shop to discover her collection.
